Undercity Plaguebat 1

There aren’t many other mounts that genuinely represent the epitome of evil like the bat mounts in WoW do. Roaming the Undercity in the darkest of the night to guide you into battle, bats are a well-suited partner to any Horde allegiant.

There aren’t many of these menacing mounts, but each one is worth the effort. (List will be updated for Shadowlands and Dragonflight soon).

WITHERBARK DIREWING

Witherbark Direwing 1

Only a handful of these giant bats remain in the Arathi Highlands, carefully raised by the Witherbark forest trolls who first brought them here.

How to obtain

You can obtain this mount by defeating the NPC Nimar the slayer <Warband Leader> in the warfront phase of Arathi Highlands.

You will find him located just north of Witherbark Village. With only a 6% drop rate, you may find that you need to grind to get this mount.

BLOODTHIRSTY DREADWING

Bloodthirsty Dreadwing

The forsaken prefer the use of these bloodthirsty hunters, both for their speed as a mount, and the psychological effect they have on their enemies.

How to obtain

To add this mount to your collection, you will need to purchase it from Provisioner Mukra <Service Medal Quartermaster> in the south of Dazar’alor. The mount will cost 750 Honorbound service medals that can be obtained by taking part in Warfronts and Battlefields.

This is a horde only mount, although you will receive the Alliance mount Priestess’ Moonsaber alongside the Bloodthirsty Dreadwing.

How to obtain

The Bloodgorged Hunter is obtained by taking part in the three-player island expedition scenarios in Battle for Azeroth.

It is a drop rate reward, rather than a purchase, and Canopy Stalkers are the mob that drops them. Although there isn’t a drop rate percentage, they are relatively rare to obtain.
